Great safflower benefits for maintain a healthy skin and hair.

Safflower is used in the cosmetics, skin and hair care industry because of its many benefits in this regard. The benefits of safflower for the skin are due to the oil extracted from its seeds, which is a natural oil, which carries many benefits for the skin, and is also considered excellent for people with dry skin.

Safflower oil provides hydration, smoothness to the skin and reduces its dryness, as it is rich in fatty acids, primarily linolenic acid. This acid is necessary for the production of ceramides, which helps the skin to retain water and prevent its loss, thus helping to treat the problem of dry skin and maintain its moisture. The high content of linolenic acid and vitamin E in safflower oil enhances the health and appearance of the skin, as linolenic acid helps clean pores, reduce blackheads and pimples, and stimulates the production of new skin cells.

Eczema usually contributes to faster water loss from the skin, due to lower levels of ceramides in the skin. Regular use of safflower oil can increase ceramides in the skin, in addition to the fact that vitamin E is an anti-inflammatory and a powerful antioxidant. These elements contribute to relief from itching, as well as reduce dryness and peeling of the skin. The benefits of safflower for the skin can be obtained by using the oil externally. Bring a quantity of safflower oil and use it alone, with the addition of some other oils such as sunflower oil or yogurt.

Then mix the ingredients together, put them in a dark-colored bottle and store the quantity in the refrigerator. Wash the face with lukewarm water and soap first, then put several drops of safflower oil and make sure to cover the entire face with the oil. Gently massage the face until the skin absorbs all the oil, and it is advised not to use this mixture when leaving the house.

These elements that safflower contains are also very useful for maintaining healthy and strong hair. We mention again linoleic acid, which offers a lot of benefits to the hair and is quickly absorbed by the scalp, so it is very useful for it. Linolenic acid produces ceramides that are important for hair, which in turn makes hair stronger, strengthens blood circulation in the scalp, stimulates hair growth and strengthens it from the roots, which helps prevent hair loss.

Vitamin E and anti-oxidants in safflower also help protect hair and compensate for lost proteins that may impair hair growth, which contributes to its lengthening and thickening. Therefore, it is logical to find safflower among the components of hair products that deal with the scalp, as it also limits dandruff and harmful fungi that may form on the scalp and cause irritation and itching.

Safflower oil can be used on the hair alone, like any type of oil, without adding any other type of oils. You can also use this wonderful recipe. Take a tablespoon of dried safflower with a large glass of water with two tablespoons of coconut oil. First, boil the water in a pot on the stove, then add the safflower, cover the pot to trap the steam, and leave it for about 5 minutes on a low heat.

Then turn off the heat and leave the mixture to cool, then filter it. Put this mixture in a spray bottle, add coconut oil and shake well. Spray this mixture on your hair abundantly until it is completely wet and distribute the mixture with your fingers from roots to ends. Leave the mixture on your hair for about half an hour and then wash your hair as usual. Repeat the application of this mixture 2 to 3 times a week until you get the desired result and you will notice a big difference.
